I'm excited to share the results of the 2025 Membership Survey with you! Now in our third year, our Annual Survey attempts to take the pulse of both business needs and Chamber performance on key programs and initiatives. Some stats:
Overall, businesses reported they were growing or maintaining revenues and identified "getting more customers" as most important their businesses' success.
About 30% of respondents indicated staffing and workforce were a struggle. Of those, most reported that salary and wages were the top obstacle to finding or keeping employees. Office skills and training followed closely behind with housing and childcare availability and affordability. Additional answers included transportation and scheduling- where I'm grouping desire for remote work, availability for second shifts and weekend shifts.
"Small businesses are really struggling with uncertainty, however, using resources and education helps. I Recently went to a conference and Found that most of the digital content I had already learned from participating in the small business council."
The entire presentation is embedded below, and the team and I will work in the coming months to write some more posts on the results, existing Chamber & community resources, plans for the future and more opportunities for you to answer questions and provide feedback as we plan for 2026.
In the meantime, please
