What does it mean to be a Chamber Champion? Listen to the experience of one of our very own 2024 Champions.
"First and foremost it is an honor to just be a small contributor to the business community of Lakeland. I have had the privilege of meeting so many great people. As I got more and more involved with Lakeland Chamber through the Chamber Champions. I was amazed by all the things the chamber does. So many resources, opportunities to grow professionally and, the ability to help others in our community.
The friends, professional business partners and mentors I have made while being a member of the Lakeland Chamber Champions, it’s just more than I ever imagined. A number of years ago, a co-worker gave me one of the best pieces of advise when asking if being a part of the chamber would be advisable. He told me… “if you’re going to be in the Chamber… be IN the Chamber.”
I made the commitment to be truly present in the Lakeland Chamber Champions as a piece of my business. I have grown professionally, financially, and I get the peace of mind that I am doing my small part to help my community. It’s a win-win-win.
