LAKELAND, Fla. — Hogan Gidley, director of America First Policy Institute’s (AFPI) Center for Election Integrity, will be speaking at Southeastern University (SEU) on Thursday, October 27, at 11 a.m. in the Welcome Center’s Lake Bonny room. Gidley will be speaking on “The Role of the Press in Politics” as part of the Politically Speaking Lecture Series by SEU’s American Center for Political Leadership (ACPL). 

Gidley has over 20 years of experience working as a communications, political and marketing consultant. He recently served as the national press secretary for Trump’s re-election campaign. During the Trump administration, Gidley served as the principal deputy press secretary and the deputy assistant. He was also the executive director of the South Carolina Republican Party and has been the director of communications for Mike Huckabee, Elizabeth Dole and Rick Santorum.
