It’s Not Over features keynote speaker Tyler Merritt, actor, comedian, viral sensation, and author of “I Take My Coffee Black.” In his address, entitled “It’s Not Over: Grace, Love, and Being Bigger Than Our Mistakes,” Merritt asks the question: how do we reconcile our ability to take chances, make mistakes, and rebound from failure? Is human potential being held back by the fear that our mistakes are larger than our call to purpose? In this inspirational and humorous talk, Merritt examines these timely topics and provides a roadmap for recognition, grace, hope, and redemption, with plenty of laughter along the way. He discusses how we can keep ourselves from falling into the trap of judgment, learn to lean into empathy and understanding, and help ourselves and others view mistakes as valuable lessons that help us move forward in humility and power.

At It’s Not Over, friends of Talbot House Ministries will empower the homeless to take chances, make mistakes, and move forward as they pursue self-sufficiency. The evening will also include musical entertainment by Dylan Dames, a virtual silent auction, a three-course dinner, inspirational client testimonials, and more. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; a complimentary dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Guests should attend with an understanding that an invitation will be presented to financially support the mission of Talbot House Ministries.
