In January, the Florida Chamber Foundation launched a two-year research program to inform its next phase of workforce research,the Florida Workforce Needs Study 2.0This follow-up research effort to the 2021 Florida Workforce Needs Study will provide a deeper analysis of Florida’s workforce skills gaps and the resources available to better equip Florida’s current and future talent
In Part One of the Florida Workforce Needs Study 2.0 Survey Series, “Addressing Florida’s Hiring, Recruitment, Community Partnerships, and Skills Gaps,” feedback from Florida’s business leaders and hiring managers showed that: 
Over 73% of Florida businesses have struggled to recruit qualified talent over the past year Nearly 86% have plans to hire in the near future
The Florida Chamber Foundation is now launching Part Two of the 2.0 Survey Series“A Deeper Look Into Desired Skillsets and Workforce Development,” to further examineworkforce skills needs, talent gaps, and the workforce, education and training opportunities available to help win Florida’s talent war.
