LAKELAND, Fla. — The spring concert season is now in full swing at Southeastern University (SEU). The College of Arts & Media (CAM) and the Department of Music will be presenting a variety of shows this month. Performances will feature a wide range of genres and instruments. Read below for the upcoming shows within the next three weeks.

Percussion Concert

On Tuesday, April 5, a Percussion Ensemble concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the SEU Band Room located in room 149 of Buena Vida East on SEU’s Lakeland campus. 

Jazz Ensemble Concert

The SEU Jazz Ensemble will present a special concert entitled “Songs You Know” featuring the SEU Symphony Orchestra on Thursday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Bush Chapel on SEU’s Lakeland campus.

Choral Concert

On Monday, April 11, the spring choral concert “Darkness to Light” will be held at First Presbyterian Church (175 Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, FL 33801) at 7:30 p.m.

Contemporary Band Concert 

A Contemporary Band concert will be presented on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Bush Chapel on SEU’s Lakeland campus.

Wind Ensemble Concert

A Wind Ensemble concert will be held on Tuesday, April 19, in Bush Chapel on SEU’s Lakeland campus at 7:30 p.m.

An Afternoon Melody

On Sunday, April 24, “An Afternoon Melody” concert will be presented at the Polk Museum of Art (800 E. Palmetto St., Lakeland, FL 33801) at 2 p.m. Admission is free for this event.
