We understand that the delay in Spring Training due to the recent MLB lockout has affected many individuals and organizations, including nonprofits that typically benefit from Spring Training fundraising and awareness programs. With a shortened schedule, nonprofits have missed out on an important revenue stream compounded by the unprecedented challenges they faced throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Major League Baseball Players want to ensure that nonprofits have the financial support they need to continue to run their programming and help those who need it most.

The Players Trust is providing up to $500,000 in support of qualifying nonprofits that provide youth development programs and services to young people throughout the Spring Training communities in Arizona and Florida and have historically benefitted from Spring Training games through fundraising and promotional activities.

The grant application is now open through March 31, 2022. Follow the link below to view eligibility requirements and access the application.
