POLK COUNTY, FL, February 7, 2022 — Florida Gas Transmission Company announced today that a section of its natural gas pipeline running along CR 582/Old Polk City Road from Bryant Road to Tomkow Road is scheduled to undergo maintenance as a result of a hydrotest that took place this morning. The hydrotest is part of Florida Gas Transmission Company’s ongoing safety management program. 

The following lane closure is scheduled to occur from 4:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2022 through an end date and time which has yet to be determined:

  • Eastbound lane of CR 582/Old Polk City Road between Bryant Road and Tomkow Road

Flaggers will be stationed along this section of roadway full time to allow for the operation of two-way traffic.
