LAKELAND, Fla. – Award-winning animator, artist and creative director Dominic Carola will be speaking at Southeastern University’s Communication Day, held by the College of Arts & Media on Monday, October 18. Carola will be speaking on the topic of “Creativity: Flexibility and Faith,” and leading three sessions. The event will be hosted on Southeastern’s Lakeland campus in the Buena Vida Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Communication Day is intended for students majoring in communication, digital journalism, film, media ministry and public relations to come together and learn how their various disciplines work side by side to address many of the same issues.
Carola currently serves as an independent producer and director of Premise Entertainment. Successfully working in the animation and film industry for over 25 years, Carola has previously worked for companies as grand in scale as DC Comics and Walt Disney Feature Animation. With Disney, he was a lead animator and worked on popular films such as “Lilo and Stitch,” “Mulan,” “The Lion King” and “Pocahontas.” To view his full list of contributing works, click here.
