LAKELAND, FLA (September 1, 2021) The Learning Resource Center of Polk County (LRC) invites community members to paint along with award-winning artist David Collins during LRC’s virtual Paint & Pour fundraising event to support the United Way nonprofit and local students in need of academic assistance.

The interactive class will take place through Zoom on Thursday, September 30 from 6-8:30 p.m.

Registrants may choose from three ticket options. The $100 Individual level includes access to the exclusive workshop, painting supplies (canvas, brushes, paints, etc.), a finely curated charcuterie board from Perfect Bites, and a bottle of wine, while the $150 Couple level includes access to the workshop, painting supplies for two, a charcuterie board for two, and a bottle of wine. Adding to the Couple package and overall experience is the $250 Deluxe level which includes access to the workshop, painting supplies for two along with a superior charcuterie board for two and a premium bottle of wine.

Paint & Pour Guide David Collins is a self-taught artist who began painting in 2005 and the artist behind local works and concepts such as: Munn Park’s Giraffe Tree, Munn Park’s Pink Tree, “Clearly People” and “Tapestries Lakeland”. Collins guided students of all levels at his Paint Along Studios, which began in 2009 and offered easy-to-follow painting classes in Downtown Lakeland.

Participants may register for Paint & Pour through Thursday, September 23 at and will receive additional information including a Zoom link, an IT contact, and pickup instructions prior to the event.
