The Polk County School Board will hold a special work session on Monday, Nov. 30.
The work session will begin at 1 p.m. and will take place at the Jim Miles Professional Development Center, 4270 Wallace Road in Lakeland.
The purpose of the work session is to discuss the school district’s superintendent search.
The work session will be structured to comply with CDC guidance, including social distancing and limiting the capacity of rooms. Members of the public wishing to attend in person will be asked to wear face masks or coverings.
The work session will be broadcast live via the district’s YouTube channel: (youtube.com/polkcountypublicschools). The work session will also be broadcast live on the following channels: Comcast channel 7, Frontier channel 45, Spectrum channel 642.
