Greetings from Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing!

Please join us in honoring the best athletes and coaches in Polk County by watching the Virtual 2020 Polk County All Sports Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony.

In years past, we’ve gathered together over a meal to celebrate Polk County’s unmatched athletic success. However, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve opted to convert the in-person gathering to an online event, hosted on our partner The Ledger’s website.

This installment of the Polk County All Sports Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony will be an experience unique to Polk County while still honoring all of its outstanding athletes and teams. The ceremony recognizes more than 70 different award winners that have shown outstanding talent and sportsmanship. The event will also announce the newest members of the Polk County Sports Hall of Fame who will be official inducted at a later date. Some of this year’s awards include:

Polk County Professional Athlete of the year

Boys and Girls Prep Athletes of the Year

Boys and Girls Prep Teams of the Year

Men’s and Women’s Collegiate Athletes of the Year

Men’s and Women’s Collegiate Teams of the Year

Ledger Athletes and Coaches of the Year

And many more!

You can watch the 2020 All Sports Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony for free on July 21 at 6:15 p.m. on TheLedger.com. Join host Mark Jackson, the director of Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing, as he and special celebrity guests celebrate Polk County athletics and sportsmanship.

Can’t make it? Don’t worry, the event will later be hosted on PGTV’s cable channels on July 24, 27, 29, 31 and Aug. 3 and 5 at 12 a.m., 6 a.m., 12 p.m., and 6 p.m.
