POLK COUNTY “COMMUTER SERVICES DAY,” AND NATIONAL “BIKE TO WORK DAY” SAVE THE DATE! Friday, May 18 Day activities from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Join us for lunch) Early evening activities from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Join us for a biking and walking tour at 5:30 p.m.) National Bike Month marks the third year anniversary of Polk County’s “Commuter Services Day,” as well as National “Bike to Work Day,” where all Polk County commuters are encouraged to save money on gas, travel, and improve health using alternative transportation modes, such as carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, biking, and walking. We invite you to Go Green and Get Healthy on “May 18 National Bike to Work Day!” Join everyone in a fun filled day designed with options in mind. Participate in a Team Challenge, register with Commuter Services, bring your bike or your walking shoes and enjoy a special day just for you!
